Three Favorite Window Treatments

Our project in Los Feliz was 👏🏻all 👏🏻about 👏🏻the 👏🏻windows— big, west-facing views, nestled into the hillside, overlooking golden sunsets over Hollywood. And those windows deserved, nay, called for equally stunning window treatments. Enter our friends at 3 Day Blinds, who swooped in with enormous binders of perfect samples of linen to custom-make our dream curtains. Here are three of our favorite sunlit corners:

Ivory Linen in the Master Bedroom

The thing about having an entire wall of a master bedroom be windows? Privacy… isn’t really a thing. To keep the room from being a little *too* open, we opted for textured roll-down blinds, layered under dramatically pleated, ivory colored linen drapes. The whole situation is on a motorized track, which means it’s remote controlled, directly from bed. (How luxe!) A coordinating Roman Shade completes the look in the reading nook.

Monochrome Magic in the Great Room

It’s no secret that we’re big fan of monochrome hues and simple, bright spaces. We kept those themes going in the great room, anchoring big picture windows out to the courtyard with these deliciously creamy drapes. That little pinch at the top? Mmmm— so chic!

Natural Linen in the Home Office

With the home office being a moody combo of charcoal Roman Clay walls and reclaimed beechwood built-ins, we opted to brighten up the window treatments with natural, oatmeal-colored linen. If you’re sticking to a neutral, natural color palette, we love this trick— lighter shades and darker walls!
